Concert of new Cabaret Song
On May 16th, Spicer’s new Cabaret Song “Fluffernutter Peanutbutter” will be performed at the New York Opera Fest Next! concert series. The song, originally developed at the Really Spicy Opera Aria Institute, is an exploration of the simple joys in life as the singer rediscovers her childhood joy of a Fluffernutter Peanutbutter sandwich.
NYOA Next!
As part of NY OperaFest 2022, the New York Opera Alliance presents NYOA Next on Monday, May 16th, 7:30PM at Christ & Saint Stephens Church, NYC. The evening features performances from NYOA company productions that will be presented later in NYOperaFest 2022, as well as previews of productions planned for later this year and in 2023 and 2024. Youll see a mixture of contemporary opera (with some world premieres), 20th Century works and Traditional Canon. Groups planning to present include America Opera Project, Bronx Opera, Collectio Musicorum, dell'Arte Opera Ensemble, Encompass New Opera Theatre, Harlem Opera Theater, Hunter Opera Theater, International Brazilian Opera Company, Lighthouse Opera Company, MORE Opera, Opera Praktikos, Regina Opera, Untitled Theater Company No. 61, and Welltone New Music.
