In a dark basement, a killer stalks his victim. Both have an indescribable yet perennial itch, but what is that itch? And is it worth it? In this experimental opera, we are taken through a whirlwind of dialogue, poetic arias, action and inaction in pursuit of tranquilizing the shared itch, which ultimately leads to an unforgettable climax followed by agonizing dissatisfaction and disillusion.
